At the annual meeting of the Association for Psychological Science, ARC Lab graduate student Ema Tanovic organized an interdisciplinary symposium on uncertainty. She was joined by Dr. Christian Luhmann of Stony Brook University, Dr. Ifat Levy of the Yale School of Medicine, and Dr. Kate Sweeny of UC Riverside. Topics included the relationship between uncertainty and delay (Dr. Luhmann), neural substrates of decision making under uncertainty (Dr. Levy), anticipation of varying levels of uncertainty (Ema), and the use of mindfulness interventions for navigating uncertain waiting periods (Dr. Sweeny). Congratulations on a successful symposium, Ema!
